Sheringham itself, home of the North Norfolk Railway, offers a traditional British seaside day out; take in the sights from the long stretching promenade, relax on the sandy beach, or dine on the coastal classic of fish n chips. You will find a fantastic array of restaurants, shops and tea rooms in Sheringham as well as in the Georgian town of Holt, a fifteen minute drive away. No winter stay is complete without embracing the town s history at the annual Viking Festival.
