Inside The Old Cricket Pavilion you are greeted by a warm and cosy ope-plan living area - all with quirky cricket touches, so you never forget the interesting past of this bijou bolthole. Wide windows line one side, giving you views across rolling paddocks from every aspect of the pavilion.

There is a super-king bed at one end with hand crafted cricket ball lamps on either side. There are two wicker chairs and an old Singer table for those evenings when you wish to dine inside, or watch something on the smart television.

The cosy kitchenette has a hidden under-counter fridge with icebox, double electric hob, air fryer and sink. There is even a Nespresso machine for a morning coffee on the decking. The bathroom has a wide shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Stepping outside, there is a decked area with wooden chairs, perfect for sitting back with a drink and a good book. Down the steps are two vintage-style ornamental benches leading to a lawned area surrounded by a wire fence. There is also an outdoor table and chairs and summer loungers, providing plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A firepit/ barbecue is perfect for alfresco dining.

There is a wood-fired hot tub available for an additional charge, which is heated by guests, offering the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the North Norfolk Coast. Outdoor lighting is kept to a minimum so the night sky can be fully appreciated. Feel free to bring a torch for additional light.

The village pub, The Three Horseshoes is only 250 meters away and there is a small path direct to the back of the pub from the pavilion.

The beautiful North Norfolk Coast is also accessible directly from the property; you can walk down the owner’s driveway and join the coastal path at Stiffkey marshes. To make the most of your stay, we recommend you staying at least two nights, giving you time to explore the popular coastal villages of Brancaster, Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham, and Cromer.

Golfing is available at Old Hunstanton Golf Club.

Sailing is available in the local villages of Wells-next-the-Sea

Additional Information:

A wood-fired hot tub is available for an additional charge of £75 per stay. Due to the remote location of the pavilion, the wood-fired hot tub cannot be heated for arrival. This may take between 2 and 4 hours to reach temperature, depending on the weather conditions.

A starter pack of logs, kindling and firelighters is supplied for the hot tub with more available to purchase from the village shop.

The hut is located in a rural location surrounded by open fields. The owner occasionally has access to the nearby fields.

Two well behaved dogs are welcome for a small additional charge. There is a wired fence, but it is advised that dogs are kept on the lead, as small dogs may be able to pass through. Please note that dogs must be kept off the furniture.

Parking is by the hut and accessed by a track through a meadow. Please note it is an uneven track.

A quirky bolt hole with a very comfortable bed in peaceful surroundings with views over fields of horses. Particularly enjoyed the hot tub & variety of garden furniture. Very good restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

What a find! A little place steeped in history, pub on the doorstep and Wells next the Sea just 5 minutes away. If you love cricket and horses, then this is about perfect! Lots of little details catered for: welcome pack; toiletries; lots of outdoor seating; dog treats; hairdryer; corkscrew and a comfy bed. The hot tub is welcome after a day of exploring. Had a super stay - thank you.
