Wonderful views can be enjoyed over the countryside fields from both bedrooms. There’s also a private garden at the rear with patio area. Excellent beach walks on pet friendly beaches, cycling, wild swimming, paddle boarding or simply sit back and relax and enjoy your wonderful surroundings of the stunning Norfolk coast.
Decorated with family beach fun in mind, comfortably furnished and equipped to offer a home from home. The kitchen is well equipped to enjoy meals at home. A short walk from the doorstep is the sandy beach accessed via steps over the dunes. From here you have miles and miles of wide sandy beach backed by dunes in either direction. It truly is a magical location for a seaside holiday. You are within walking distance of Happisburgh and its famous light house, stopping at Cart Gap on the way, and don’t forget to call at cafe Small Sticks, well known and a popular refuelling station. Or enjoy a walk in the opposite direction onto Sea Palling, a popular seaside village with amusement arcade, café, fish and chips and doughnuts. This is a very pet friendly location and pets are welcomed in many eateries. Stalham market town 15 minutes’ drive for supermarket, shops, cafes, pubs and take-aways. Pub 3 miles.

No working outside lights, and it was dark when we arriveded. Dissapointed with cleanliness, stains on carpets and sofas. Leak under the floor in the kitchen and all the slats broken on the toddler bed. Considering this was thd weekend before xmas, a break away go get us in the xmas spirit, it was sad that there were no xmas decorations. We contacted cottages.co. who were brilliant, the bed got repaired and someone came to look at the very wet floor. Sadly the other little proble. We just put up with.

We spent New Year here and came with the intention of it being remote, as our dogs hate fireworks, for that it is perfect! There are no amenities there, but only a short distance away so we were very happy with that. We loved the closeness of the beach, we walked there every day of our stay, although you need to check tide times! The house is lovely and warm this time of year, and has everything you need really. Maybe a few stains on the living room carpet, and the stiff patio doors need sorting as they are hard to close. We also needed a small knife and a wooden spoon, which they didn’t have. We struggled to work the oven out so maybe easy instructions would help? Also, info on bins etc? We hadn’t got a clue what went in each bin as we’re not from the area. But apart from those little things we had a great stay and would definitely return.

This holiday cottage is in such a fantastic location. A 2 min walk to the beach is just amazing. However, I really wish the owners would just give it a throughly good clean (including discaling the kettle and dishwasher) and renew basics like cutlery and cooking utensils. If these basic things were better it would be a 5 star outstanding review.
