A superb location for a family seaside holiday, this delightful detached, upside-down, brick and flint house lies just 50 yards from the glorious beach, which can be accessed by the gate at the bottom of the garden, borders a meandering stream, and is walking distance from shops and pubs in the pretty village of Mundesley. This lovely area provides so much to see: the beautiful Norfolk Broads where boats can be hired or trips can be taken, Cromer, 8 miles, for family fun - famous for its end-of-pier show and crab sandwiches, pretty fishing villages, bird reserves, seal-watching trips, steam train rides and the children will love Bewilderwood - a treetop fun park. Medieval Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, fine shops and restaurants, is not to be missed. Shop and pub 100 yards.

As part of the Coastal management Scheme, contractors will be undertaking work from 4th March 2024 until the end of March 2025 and Beach Road will be an entry for works but guests will be able to take their vehicles down Beach Road at any time to the property and park on Beach Retreat’s driveway and inside the garage.
There is open water in the property grounds.

The beach retreat was amazing we had such a lovely time. The short walk to the beach was great for going there with the children. We saw a couple of seals swimming not far from the shore. Would definitely recommend booking this place and a hidden gem.

We had fabulous time, beach retreat was so close to everything you need, getting up 6.30am everday and walking along beach was perfect.It had everything you need even in garage was wet suits to use.Thankyou also to Mavis owner, she was very abliging and helpful when i asked if it was ok for my husband to have a oxygen cylinder and generator brought to the house for the week she said its no trouble.If anyone is out there that would love a beach side holiday in a beautiful house but is worried about needing oxygen i would recomment Beach Retreat. I did ask Mavis to confirm ok for me to write this.Best cottage holiday weve had for a long time.Jayne
