If you are wanting to enjoy waterside activities, kayaks, canoes, motorboat launches, and river trips are all available locally for hire. You also have on-site fishing opportunities from the garden (seasonal and licensed).
This property is perfect for family gatherings, but not suitable for parties. Nestled in the heart of Wroxham, known as the ’Capital of the Broads’, just 12 minutes’ walk from waterside restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Explore the famous Norfolk Broads National Park, plenty of waterside restaurants to enjoy, and abundant with bird and wildlife. Sailing, bicycle hire and golf courses are all available locally. The surrounding area offers excellent cycle routes. The sandy beach at Sea Palling is 12 miles away. From late October visitors can enjoy the colony of grey seals at Horsey Gap Beach. For children there is Bewilderwood at Horning, Wroxham Barns or Wroxham Miniature World, the largest indoor modelling attraction. Roar Dinosaur Park at Lenwade and Banham Zoo are award winning family parks.
Nearby National Trust properties include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Gardens, and Horsey Wind Pump. We stayed here with a group of friends some of whom had never been to the Broads was amazed at the property and location could not fault a thing !! Every thing is thought of kitchen well equipped was just a great experience and lovely house. Hosts instructions a great help.Will definitely be revisiting !

Had an amazing week in norfolk made all the better by our stay in bide a wee the lodge is beautiful so roomy location was perfect for a stroll down to Roy's the Lodge was very very clean the added touches of appliances in kitchen and the whole overall luxury was amazing pete and justine were on hand to answer any questions and very helpful we go to the norfolk broads fishing every October break my extended family all have lodges along the river bure and this is by far one of the best we have stayed in excellent 5 star lodge
