You also have on-site fishing opportunities from the garden (seasonal and licensed).
This property is perfect for family gatherings, but not suitable for parties. Nestled in the heart of Wroxham, known as the ’Capital of the Broads’, just 12 minutes’ walk from waterside restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Explore the famous Norfolk Broads National Park, plenty of waterside restaurants to enjoy, and abundant with bird and wildlife. Sailing, bicycle hire and golf courses are all available locally. The surrounding area offers excellent cycle routes. The sandy beach at Sea Palling is 12 miles away. From late October visitors can enjoy the colony of grey seals at Horsey Gap Beach. For children there is Bewilderwood at Horning, Wroxham Barns or Wroxham Miniature World, the largest indoor modelling attraction. Roar Dinosaur Park at Lenwade and Banham Zoo are award winning family parks.
Nearby National Trust properties include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Gardens, and Horsey Wind Pump. We were amazed & delighted at the quality of the accommodation & facilities provided in this property - immaculate. Very roomy inside for 6 occupants & then there was the covered verandah downstairs & the upstairs balcony spanning the two bedrooms facing the river. Extensive lawn around two sides of the property & we were fascinated & intrigued by the robotic lawn mower going about its business one morning! Weather good & plenty of river activity to view during the day - which meant any serious fishing was restricted to early mornings (often accompanied by a heron sitting close by!) & evenings. Wroxham/Hoveton had all the amenities we needed & Ken's traditional fish & chip shop is always worth a visit! All in all a great week & without doubt would return.

Lovely house, stylish, well equipped & very comfortable. The wildlife literally comes to your door. We had a fabulous week with friends,. Our only grumble was with the weather, which sadly you couldn’t do anything about.
