The seaside village of Sea Palling has excellent sandy beach backed by sand dunes, restaurant, small arcade and café is just an 8 minute drive away. Bygone museums, craft centres, National Trust parks and homes of Blickling and Felbrigg Halls are all within an easy drive. City of Norwich is just 16 miles away and has a magnificent cathedral, castle museum, art galleries, cinemas, theatre, cafés, fine restaurants, and excellent shopping.
Blakeney Quay and Morston Harbour located further along the north Norfolk coast offer seal watching boat trips and pubs and restaurants serving superb locally caught seafood. Fishing is available (in season with licence) at Sea Palling, Waxham, Cromer and Sheringham beaches, alongside the River Bure for river fishing and many lakes. Great golf courses are within an easy drive too including Sheringham cliff top, Sprowston Manor, Barnham Broom and Bawburgh will certainly delight any keen golfer. Beach 3 miles. Pub ½ mile. Shops and supermarket 1½ miles.

Bockety Barn is a perfect base for a relaxing holiday. It is clear that Lizzie wants you to have a great holiday from the moment you arrive. The beds are so comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the hot tub is lovely. The location is good, with lots of things to do just a short ride away.
