This detached holiday property has a very well-equipped kitchen with bean to cup coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, spacious living room with large Samsung Smart TV (and Netflix/ BT Sport, selection of DVDs and a Nintendo Wii and a selection of books, toys and games) and comfy leather sofas, TVs in both upstairs bedrooms, fibre broadband and Weber barbeque in the enclosed rear garden. The cottage sits just a short walk from Sea Palling’s popular sandy beach with seasonal water sports and life guards. There is a children’s playground, a dog friendly local pub, cafe’s, fish & chip shop, amusement arcade and the Post Office and Village Shop (selling many everyday essentials) all a short walk away.
Dormouse Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the area’s many attractions: - There are many fabulous circular walks, coastal walks and nature reserves in the local area. Horsey Gap is a great place to view the huge local seal colony on the beach. Stalham has a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs, supermarket and boat hire. Wroxham with many shops including the world-famous Roys Department Store, various boat trips and hire facilities, Wroxham Barns (petting farm, craft studios, fun fair and restaurant). The Norfolk Broads are very close by with many water activities and boat trips/ boat hire available - Bewilderwood Outdoor Adventure Park. Not to mention Happisburgh lighthouse and childrens play area! The larger towns of Cromer (with it’s pier, theatre and local shops), Great Yarmouth (with the pleasure beach, fairground rides, aquarium, theatres, horse racing, dog racing and many shops), as well as the medieval City of Norwich (with its cathedral, castle, galleries, museums and excellent shopping) are all within easy reach.

Pleasant cottage, the location was perfect for us. Local people very friendly and helpful. A good base for all areas we enjoy visiting. We loved proximity to the beach.

A very nice detached house which is a 30 second walk from the local shop and 2-3 min walk from the beach front and amusements. Only thing that could affect your stay is the weather - but thats not the fault of the house - we were fortunate enough that it was 26/27 degrees every day.
