Traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is just 20 miles away and offers fun for all the family. Watersports and boat hire are both available at the seaside resort of Sea Palling. Winterton-on-Sea is 11 miles away and Wroxham, known as the ’capital of the Broads’, is just 12 miles A main line train station and narrow-gauge steam railway, a model village, waterside restaurants, cafés and shops. Plenty of National Trust historical houses, gardens, nature and bird reserves can be found locally too. Visit Horsey beach between December and February and you may spot hundreds of grey seals and their pups on the beach. Fantastic place to stay, well equipped with everything you would need. Lovely views a 2 minute walk to the beach. Great place to take children and dogs as the garden is perfect to play and such close proximity to the beach. Definitely would recommend a visit, we will be coming back.
