Be greeted by ample off-road parking and a vast front garden with two seating areas, a perfect spot for savouring your morning coffee whilst the littles ones play. Step into your new abode, where you will find a spacious sitting room with plush seating, TV, books, games and a fire, a sanctuary to return to after a day of exploring. If you fancy watching something else, there is also a snug with its own TV with Sky, DVD player and soundbar, as well as a fire, sure to be your pooch’s favourite spot. The chef of the group will have all they need in the huge kitchen/diner to prepare delicious meals, ready to enjoy at the large dining table for 12 over celebratory bottles of fizz and tales from the day. After dinner, why not head through to the conservatory/games room to challenge your loved ones to a game of pool or head out to the rear garden, where you can savour your favourite tipple at the bistro table, fire up the barbecue, or indulge in a soak in the bubbling hot tub. Completing the ground floor is a utility and two cloakrooms for your convenience. Climb the stairs up to the first floor, where you can wash away the day in the beautifully appointed bathroom with freestanding bath and separate walk-in shower, before finding three of the home’s tastefully decorated bedrooms, a super-king with en-suite shower room, a king and a twin, both of which are zip/link. On the second-floor, three further king-size bedrooms await, all zip/link and one with its own en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms have plenty of storage, Egyptian cotton sheets and a lovely outlook over the garden. Your local amenities can be found in Southrepps, where you can dine at the welcoming Vernon Arms, or stock up on essentials at the well-stocked supermarket. Next stop is Overstrand, where you can spend a day at the beach, embark on the renowned Deep History Trail which spans for 22.3 miles along the Norfolk clifftops, or soak up the views front the Overstrand Cliffs. Continue onto Cromer, home to its own beautiful beach, a bustling pier with its own theatre, the RNLI Henry Blogg Museum, an original BANKSY artwork, a historic lighthouse, an excellent golf club and the popular Amazona Zoo. Further afield, you will find Sheringham, where you can delve into history at the Sheringham Museum, visit the Beeston Regis Priory, hike along the Norfolk Coastal Path, or continue the seaside fun at Sheringham Beach. Southrepps, a little community in north Norfolk, is only five miles from Cromer. There are two stores and a popular bar in the small town. Overstrand village, perched on a cliff above a wide sandy beach, can be reached in less than four miles. Just five miles north of Southrepps is the beach village of Cromer, famous the world over for its Cromer crabs. Sheringham, a pleasant coastal town just a few miles up the coast, is where the North Norfolk Steam Railway pulls into for the day. Holt and Aylsham are two popular market towns not far from Norwich, which is home to the cathedral and many chances for wildlife and birdwatching.

    Sykes assured us that this would not impact negatively on our stay. In actual fact the building is being constructed adjoining the house which did impact our enjoyment of the location quite considerably. Builders started work with their hammer/nail guns at 7.20 am. Vans were constantly in and out throughout the day. Voices could be heard from within High House. Builders were directly outside some of bathroom and bedroom windows. Parking for guests is limited to three cars. Some bedrooms only have a roof light which is not as advertised. The cooker was very dirty and the overhead lights for the cooker which is located in a dark recess were not working. I was told just before our holiday was due to commence that there was CCTV camera in the drive. This camera is in fact positioned in a tree directly pointing at the hot tub which I feel is quite an invasion of privacy. While the house is very nice I would not recommend anyone to book a holiday while this building work is ongoing. I have been unable to get any response from Sykes on these issues despite contacting them three times so I would not recommend Sykes either.

    Just incredible! Exactly what we wanted/needed and more! Immaculate house, stunning interior, lots of space, incredible amount of kitchen equipment, clean and tidy and the perfect setting for a long weekend. All towels and bedding provided. Great location, no neighbours and close to the coast! Would highly recommend and hope to return one day.

    The location was amazing not far from cromer beach and other places for the kids. Facilities and Space where excellent. Lots of space in all rooms. Huge garden area. The games room and hot tub was an added bonus. Along with the outdoor chairs and large fire pit which was ace for bonfire night and marshmellows. We have a made some memories that ourselves and kiddies will remember for a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. (I could go on... we will definately recommend).
