Just half a mile to the sandy beach, this impressive detached Edwardian style double bay fronted country house offers charm and character. The spacious rooms offer inviting and comfortable holiday accommodation for larger family groups. The garage has been converted into a games room to include table tennis and snooker table. Some rooms have character stripped wooden floors, the large living room has a woodburner and leads out to a sheltered enclosed lawn garden with patio, seating furniture and barbecue. Happisburgh village offers village shop, pub serving good food, and lighthouse, open on Sundays during the main summer season, where visitors can view its workings and enjoy the fantastic views. Attractions for all can be found at the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham, half an hours drive, with Blue Flag Award sandy beaches, pier, promenade gardens, golf courses, Splash swimming pool and Poppyline Steam Railway, journeys through beautiful countryside and neighbouring coastal villages onto Holt. Norfolk Broads for waterfront cafes, restaurants, boat hire, river trips, fishing (in season) and sailing, 7 miles. Hickling Broad with Wildlife Trust nature reserve, 6 miles. City of Norwich, cathedral, castle museum, cafes, pubs and excellent shopping, 20 miles. Shop and pub 1/2 mile.

Pembroke House is ideal for a large group or family holiday. Very well equipped throughout, including garden equipment. Spacious accommodation and large games room with table tennis and pool table. Fully enclosed rear garden so ideal for dogs. Probably the most secure garden we’ve experienced. The house is a steady 15 minute walk to the lovely beach At Happisburgh. Only negative was the cleanliness, the lounge could have done with a deep clean and certain items of furniture could do with upgrading but overall a very nice house to stay in.
