Puddle Inn Duck is a detached property with marina views situated in a marina development with private mooring, a perfect waterside setting suitable for families and couples, located just off the River Bure. Guests can just sit and relax on the veranda watching the boating activity, or use this holiday home as as an ideal base to explore the famous waterways. This spacious, detached holiday home has been designed for ‘upside down’ living accommodation. Patio doors lead to the first floor veranda which enjoys impressive waterside view. The Broads are a haven for wildlife and a must for any bird watching enthusiast; fishing is available (in season) and daily boat hire is available locally. The Bure Valley Steam Railway runs from Wroxham to Aylsham. For children, a great day out is Bewilderwood, an outdoor adventure park just 1½ miles away. NT properties of Blickling Hall and Flebrigg Hall are well worth visiting, or alternatively the city of Norwich is just 12 miles away with its cathedral, museums, theatres, array of shops and cafés/restaurants. The coast is just 10 miles away. Shop ½ mile, pub 800 yards, restaurant ¼ mile.
There is open water in the property grounds.
Please bring wellies until further notice for getting from the driveway to the front door of the house, whilst there is currently some works ongoing.

Really nice property, amazing views of the marina and river Upstairs floor bit creaky, Very clean, Nicely equipped kitchen Decking and balcony quite slippery when wet.Horning is a very nice place, lots of wildlife Will be booking again

Puddle Inn Duck is a lovely chalet style home with upside down living to make the most of the great views across the marina. The two double rooms also have doors onto the veranda overlooking the marina. There is spacious living space upstairs with lots of sofas and armchairs, so very comfortable for a larger group (we were just two). It is easy to heat despite it being a larger group space. The entrance area is great for removing boots etc and there’s a useful utility/laundry room. We bumped into the caretaker who was very friendly and would have been readily accessible had we needed him. Just a couple of things to note for future travellers: there’s no welcome pack as such so bring milk if you use it; no shower gel or shampoo in bathrooms, but there is liquid soap by the basins; and the bath towels are smallish so bring bath sheets if that is your preference. None of this bothered us and we would be very happy to stay again any time of the year. We thought the price was extremely good for our 4-night stay.
