It is a great starting point for walking, with circular paths going through Bacton village, while Bacton Woods is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic and has great dog walking trails. The nearby traditional seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham provide great days out. Wroxham has riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. Norwich offers two excellent indoor shopping malls, market square, theatre, cinema complexes, castle museum, cathedral, cafés, restaurants and pubs.
