The Hollies is a modern and well-equipped cottage praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and ideal location for exploring Norwich and Norfolk. While some guests noted minor issues with cleanliness and ongoing construction, the property generally offers a pleasant stay with a nice rear garden and proximity to park and ride services.
The property received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests found it lovely and clean, while others noted dust and dirty marks. The presence of sugar under a coaster suggests occasional oversights in cleaning.
The location is appreciated for its proximity to Norwich, the coast, and the broads, although some guests were dissatisfied with the property being 3 miles outside of Norwich and the misleading map location.
Guests found the beds comfortable and the property suitable for a family holiday. However, there were comments about noisy bed sheets and construction noise affecting comfort for those who sleep with windows open.
The property is well-equipped, but guests reported issues with a difficult-to-open front door, a missing corkscrew, and a complex TV system. There is no mention of gifts, so the thoughtfulness score is set to null.
There is no information provided in the reviews regarding gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Super equipped, only the corkscrew was missing. Beds are great! The construction noise from early in the morning is not so nice, especially since we sleep with the windows open. We were out a lot during the day, so it was bearable. We would come back.

First problem we had was access as the front door was very difficult to open. Fortunately are first attempts were witnessed by a neighbour opposite who managed to open it for us and suggested we had some practice at opening it. We'll after 3 days it was still difficult, but my daughter had the most success. T V instructions would have been useful. The TV proved too smart for us and we couldn't get live TV only catchup. Also there was no written info on local attractions or bus or train details.
