This holiday bungalow was recently refurbished in 2025 and offers a wonderful stay all year round having comfortable accommodation, with added touches of convenience including an iron/ironing board and hairdryer, as well as a conservatory overlooking the garden, a perfect spot to relax in and even enjoy a sea view. Enjoying a coastal location, Turnstones is within walking distance from the sandy beach and village, boasting two pubs both serving food, a fish and chip shop, general store, cafe and ice cream parlour. Nearby towns provide a selection of supermarkets.
Visit the traditional seaside resort of Cromer, 12 miles, and discover the Edwardian seafront, promenade, pier and Amazonia Zoo. Drive to Wroxham, 12 miles, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park where you can hire a day launch or join a cruise, watch the world drift by while enjoying local wildlife. Bacton Woods is close by with miles of woodland trails to explore. Ideal for cycling, picnic opportunities and great for dog walking. Bird watching, golf and fishing all available locally. If you can tear yourself away from the beach you will find a string of other coastal habitats to explore including marshes, sand dunes and pretty quays.
Venture a little further to Blakeney and take a boat trip to see the seals (seasonal) or enjoy a spot of crabbing on the quay. Head east and you’ll discover Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile with all the fun of the fair and just a little further is Pleasurewood Hills, Norfolk’s only theme park. Enjoy a ride on the Bure Valley Railway from Wroxham and travel through the pretty Norfolk countryside to the bustling market town of Aylsham for a spot of shopping or lunch. With other attractions such as the tranquil Hickling Broad, Bewilderwood, Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, North Norfolk Railway and the medieval city of Norwich all within easy reach. This truly is the ideal location to be as active as you wish, or simply relax, rewind, and enjoy the seaside and its magical sunsets. Shop, pub, and restaurant 500 yards. Beach ¼ mile.

The bungalow was very well presented and clean. Perfect for dogs, although the area is very well populated by dogs and not so good if you have a reactive one. I was using it as a base to meet up with a friend and see my sister so did not make use of any other amenities Norfolk has to offer. It will, though, make an excellent base for exploring Norfolk. I would definitely use it again.

Turnstones the perfect location for us being quiet, peaceful and just 5 minutes walk to the perfect dog walking (or sandcastle) beach. The lovely property was very clean, welcoming and extremely well equipped - there was nothing else we needed for a relaxing week's stay. We had a couple of issues (not their fault at all!) that were very quickly sorted by Richard and Beryl - very good hosts! Highly recommended.

Out 3rd visit to this lovely accomodation. It is ideally situated being 5 minutes from the beach and also within easy reach of places to visit such as Felbrigg Hall, Cromer, Sheringham Sea Palling and Winterton. The accomodation is very well furnished and equipped and a delight to stay in.
