Guests say

Ducksfoot Barn receives high praise for its peaceful rural setting, spacious and beautifully converted interiors, and dog-friendly amenities. Guests consistently highlight the comfort, cleanliness, and well-equipped nature of the property, as well as the warm and helpful approach of the owners. Thoughtful touches such as flowers and biscuits are frequently mentioned, though not guaranteed. Minor suggestions include improvements to fencing for dogs and small maintenance points, but overall, guests thoroughly enjoy their stays and often express a desire to return.

Cleanliness is frequently commended, with guests describing the barn as spotlessly clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Only one or two minor mentions of flies (expected in a rural setting) and a single comment about a small maintenance issue, but these do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, countryside views, and proximity to walking routes and local attractions. Guests appreciate the peacefulness and the ease of exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk. A single mention of occasional tractor noise is the only minor drawback.

Guests consistently describe the barn as comfortable, spacious, and relaxing, with particular praise for the quality of beds and bedding. The property is noted as being warm and cosy, even in poor weather, and suitable for both families and those with mobility needs.

Facilities are described as excellent, with the barn being well-equipped for self-catering and longer stays. Guests appreciate the thoughtful layout, ample space, and responsive maintenance. A few minor suggestions for additional items (e.g., bread bin, pizza tray, grab rails) and occasional mention of small maintenance issues, but these are addressed promptly by the owners.

Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers, biscuits, and welcome packs, as well as the owners' friendly and helpful attitude. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The central heating went down on pressure and the water was not heating up, within minutes of reporting the issue, the owner knocked on the door and ten minutes later the problem was fixed - this response was super fast and reflected how the property is cared for, we would recommend the property to anyone.

The accommodation was just like the webside promised: plenty of space and good facilities. Even the weather was nice in april/may! Sarah is a nice hostess and very accomodating. I can recommend this accommodation to everyone if you like the countryside like I do. We took our bikes with us (we're Dutch) and we used them a lot because the countryside is flat.

Well equipped with everything you would need. We loved the location in the middle of nowhere, but within reach of some lovely places. Book shelves were a great feature and the welcome biscuit pack was a nice touch. Would definitely go again
