A good holiday home in a pleasant and quiet part of the country. Owner very helpful. Good to see pheasants, and rabbits playing in the garden. Also some quite unusual birds.

The house is spacious and located in a quiet area, disturbed by frequent trains and the loud sounds of livestock. The kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathroom are very well equipped. The beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable, but several pillows and pillowcases were visibly moldy. The biggest problem in these bedrooms, however, turned out to be the infestation of clothes moths everywhere, visible on the walls, wardrobes, blinds, and doors (my husband returned home after the first night in one of the bedrooms and came back to pick us up two days later). We were very disappointed. The price didn't match the conditions. The stench from the nearby pig farm was quite bothersome, making it difficult to spend time outdoors. Refreshments, along with the barbecue and hot tub preparations, were a welcome addition. I consider this short break a complete failure.

Lovely cottage, set in beautiful surroundings, so peaceful and wildlife to see out of the windows. All on one level which was ideal for us as my husband struggles with his mobility. If you want a quiet break this the place to be. The pub doesn’t serve food, which was a shame but can recommend Goodies which a short drive .
