This charming, detached, converted granary has been thoughtfully modernised and furnished to a high standard. In an attractive, quiet setting, adjacent to the owner’s home, it makes an ideal holiday retreat. Nearby Diss has an interesting range of individual shops, restaurants and pubs as well as a leisure centre and direct train links to London. Diss also boasts more listed buildings than any other Norfolk town. Central location for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk, midway between Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Ipswich and the lovely Suffolk Heritage coast. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

I had a wonderful time staying at The Granary. Everything in the cottage was perfect……..Comfortable, welcoming and so many special little touches like a shopping bag, umbrella etc just in case you’d forgotten to bring yours.The bed was super comfy and as others have said, a fabulous shower!The walks around the lanes and footpaths were wonderful. I had a pit stop at The Cowshed for coffee and a scone, it’s only a 20min walk and well worth it!The Granary is a very tranquil place to be and the views of cattle & horses grazing in the fields make it very relaxing.Mark was a fabulous host, helpful and kind.I would definitely book this place again.

Beautiful location. Very comfortable sofa and bed. Amazing shower. Generous welcome hamper. Excellent base for Diss, Bressingham, Banham Zoo and Thornham Walks. Would recommend and would stay again.
