Middleton-in-Teesdale 1.8 miles. A wonderful, detached, stone-built cottage on remote hillside outside of Middleton-in-Teesdale. With exceptional views and a hot tub as an added extra, this home-away-from-home has been designed for couples or small families to escape from it all. Take a second to admire the countryside before entering into the cottage where you will be welcomed by a charming lounge offering nothing less than comfort. Tied together with warm, coloured sofas and a woodburner, this is the perfect spot for a cosy night in, as you sit back and admire the peaceful field views outside. The kitchen/diner lies close by, a modern design that includes a corner kitchen, with a dining table situated central to the room.

Lovely welcome hamper on arrival. The cottage is in a stunning location & benefits from being lovely & remote but also only a short walk into Middleton in Teesdale. We never had to take the car out once as so many lovely walks on the doorstep & nice pubs/cafes in the town. Bonus getting in the hottub after a long walk. Would highly recommend this cottage & are looking forward to coming again.

Lots of things to see and do, Especially liked the river near by ,everything we needed in the cottage, Nice log fire for those cozy nights in, hot tub was perfect for relaxing in and good spot for a bit of star gazing. We met the owner who made us feel very welcome,Definitely book again.

We spent a week that flew and is definitely home from home. The hot tub was outstanding with excellent jets and wonderful view. The christma lights on the pagoda were an added delight. Whilst the hot tub was checked daily the hosts were extremely decreet and the stay felt very private and uninterrupted. Also the village is extremely close even for a walker like us. Of all the places we have stayed in the UK one of the best !! Overall
