A lovely, comfy cottage, in a quiet location and close to the centre. It had everything we needed, comfy bed, good shower, fully equipped kitchen. We cannot fault the cottage. We had a meal in The Teesdale Hotel, and lunch in Tees'pot, both very good, we only stayed for a weekend. Lots of walks right from the door, we walked to Low Force and back, a long walk over many stiles but well worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and love Middleton, so we will definitely be back.

Great position for the village & lovely walks round about. The cottage could do with a little TLC especially the kitchen which was really tired. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was really small and on 2 levels but lovely & clean. The pictures could do with being updated& the windows nead a good clean. However all that said we had a great time there.
