This is a beautiful cottage in Stanhope; the facilities are second to none, everything you need is there except for your food. dog and child friendly, although we took a baby gate as this isn't provided but a travel cot is if you ask when booking. It is spotlessly clean, the little courtyard at the rear of the property is cute and quite sheltered from the wind, the information book is very informative. A nice walk into Stanhope with a variety of independent shops, lovely walk along the river and if you have children a fantastic park. This is the second time staying here and I wouldn't hesitate staying again.thank you.

We had a lovely time at The Croft, a real home from home. Lovely views over the school field and across the hills. Everything you need, well equipped. We enjoyed visiting some of the places recommended in the visitors guide provided in the house.
