The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchen. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory. The garden was lovely although the weather did not allow us to sit out!

This was a wonderfully located base to explore the area for our few days break. Our primary visit was to Beamish Museum, which is close by.The accommodation is well appointed, particularly for cooking and dining, with spacious facilities. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, we would have no hesitation in returning here again.
