The area and host were lovely and we would definitely recommend. Our return is already booked! Only minor downside, as others have mentioned, you donât see the lovely view from the upstairs lounge areaâ¦

It had everything you need and this upside down house was very comfortable. As we were situated on a brow above Brancepeth there was a lovely view across Durham county toward the coast which created the only downside to the property as there were only sky / roof windows in this barn conversion. It would have been lovely to sit and look out on a nice day. The pub and village was quite a walk with no lighting so take your torch !

Everything we wanted for a much needed getaway with family. Beautiful countryside location, a short walk into Brancepeth village and near to the city of Durham, it provided everything we needed. Tastefully decorated, furnished to a high standard and well equipped. Loved meeting and feeding the chickens and having fresh tasty eggs for breakfast!
