A wood burner adds warmth and comfort, making it the ideal place to unwind after a day exploring the countryside. The dining area flows seamlessly into the bespoke kitchen, complete with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals together. A few steps down from the main living space, the lower ground floor offers a peaceful kingsize bedroom, a stylish bathroom with a shower cubicle, and a utility room with a washing machine, perfect for longer stays. Upstairs, there are four further beautifully designed bedrooms. One has a single bed with an additional pull-out, one has a queensize bed, and another offers a kingsize zip and link bed. The family bathroom feels like a private spa, featuring a double shower and an elegant stone resin free-standing bath, perfect for a relaxing soak. The master suite completes the home with a super king bed, large walk-in wardrobe and luxurious en-suite with a shower cubicle and double sinks.

We had a wonderful time at the Village Hall. The facilities were excellent, the welcome from Mark and Joanne was warm and informative..in fact , perfect ! The quality of fittings was outstanding , the bedding was superior quality and the numbers of plates, cups, glasses, pans etc generous. The location was ideal as we travelled to Beamish, Durham and other places but, the village itself offered much ..including a great Italian restaurant , Indian restaurant and pub with food. We feel so lucky to have found this wonderful property for just a 3 night stay….wish it could have been longer .

Mark greeted us on arrival showed us around the house.Very big and spacious had everything we needed for 10 people.Told us about local walk and nice pubs and restaurants. All within 2mins walk.House was modern and very clean he had thought of everything from towels for hot tub and robes and slippers he even left us some cakes for our stay.Definitely will be booking again lovely home and area to visit.

Cottage is beautiful in an excellent location for exploring the local area. Pub just round the corner is amazing and host mark is very welcoming and close by for any help should you need it. The only minor point is that the shower in main bathroom wasn’t working but there are 2 other showers available in other shower rooms and a bathtub in the main bathroom so no real issue. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return
