We've never been to Tynemouth before, but decided to spend Christmas there.The apartment is in a really lovely location, sandwiched between the coast and Front St.The apartment itself is large and easily accommodated 5 adults. The bedrooms are spacious and everyone liked their space. We all enjoyed the rainfall showers and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner. We took our dog with us and Tynemouth at this time of year was perfect as we were able to walk along the beach with him and enjoy many of the dog friendly cafes along the seafront.Something to consider are the stairs. The main accommodate is on the 1st floor, along with 1 bedroom and the kitchen. The main bathroom is up another flight of stairs with the 2 remaining bedrooms (1 with ensuite) up another flight. This wasn't a problem for us, but maybe something to consider.I did need to contact the owner, but she responded quickly to answer my query.

We loved our time in Tynemouth and at Longsands retreat. The flat is spacious, stylish and comfortable with all the amenities you could need. It’s also in a great location to enjoy the beaches and town. Parking was easy on the road. Recommend!
