The property has a bathroom, so enjoy a soak amongst the bubbles, then cosy down for the night in one of the three bedrooms, including a double with storage, a bunk room and a single. Outside, morning coffee can be had in the courtyard as you enjoy the fresh sea air. Alnmouth is a seaside town with riverside walks, an estuary full of wildlife and a beautiful sandy beach, where you can picnic and try out watersports. With a golf course and many eateries, a day can be spent exploring the town centre, trying out local produce and learning more about the local history and heritage and for lovers of long scenic walks, you can join the England Coast Path here, which leads from Amble to Bamburgh. Further from the property, you will find the historic town of Warkworth, where a wonderful castle and a sandy beach can be found, and Alnwick, home to the well-known Alnwick Castle, as well as many quaint shops, eateries and a golf course. Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants.
