Set in the heart of vibrant Alnmouth in Northumberland, Sandybrae is an impressive ground-floor apartment ideal for a family or couples on holiday together. The accommodation is well planned and immaculately presented making for a wonderfully social space. The spacious sitting room is bright and airy with large sash windows flooding the room with light which is complemented by an L-shaped seating area, tasteful soft furnishings and chic décor, creating the perfect space for gathering together. The large kitchen/diner is a great space for entertaining with a stylish fully fitted kitchen complete with a feature breakfast island and an elegant dining area, where you can imagine spending many hours eating, drinking and enjoying quality holiday time together. If the weather allows, then there is plenty of patio furniture outside just asking for guests to pull up a chair and soak up the sunshine, breathe in the fresh Northumberland air and enjoy the breath-taking Estuary views. When it’s time for bed, there are two superbly appointed bedrooms, both king-size and both with en-suite facilities. In the morning, there is nowhere nicer to wake up, grab a coffee, enjoy the views and head out for the day. The charming village of Alnmouth is on the doorstep together with miles of sandy beaches, or take a short drive to Alnwick, famous for its castle and gardens. Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.

The apartment was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Alnmouth is a lovely village with lots of different places to eat and being able to walk to the beach was a bonus. We would definitely stay again and recommend.
