The popular and historic coastal village of Bamburgh is just a short drive from the cottage and can also be reached via a rural, public footpath. The famous Bamburgh Castle sits up high and is a truly magnificent sight, overlooking the white sandy beach, which is perfect for long walks with your family and friends. Within the town are a host of great shops, restaurants and cafes. A little further along the coast are the popular seaside villages of Seahouses and Beadnell. Beadnell is home to a beautiful bay, popular for water sports. From Seahouses, you can take a short boat trip to the Farne Islands, a sea bird sanctuary that is also home to a colony of Atlantic and Grey Seals. On entering this beautiful barn conversion which retains many original features including exposed beams, you will find yourself in the spacious and tastefully furnished lounge. With a feature stone wall and large, arched windows and French doors, this is a light and attractive space, ideal for relaxing in. You will also find a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stepping outside you will find a large, lawn garden perfect for a family game of football, rounders or cricket. There is ample off road parking available for two or three cars.
