The property is well-equipped for large groups and families, offering a modern, spacious environment with a variety of amenities, including a well-used veranda and a selection of local area books. Repeat visitors and recommendations highlight the property's appeal.
Reviewers frequently mention the immaculate condition of the property upon arrival, noting its spotlessness and tidiness. The consistent emphasis on cleanliness in the reviews suggests a very high standard is maintained.
The property's proximity to the beach and the quiet, convenient location are highly commended. Guests appreciate the easy access to local walks, the village centre, and the serene setting.
Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the property warm and the beds extremely comfortable. The addition of a new shower room is also noted as enhancing the overall comfort.
The property is described as well-equipped for guests' needs, with a special mention of the integral stairgate for families. However, the absence of a proper chopping board suggests a minor oversight in the otherwise comprehensive facilities.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience with many thoughtful touches, such as the provision of little extras and books, there is no specific mention of gifts. Therefore, it cannot be confirmed if gifts are a regular offering.
A quirky contemporary property with a wooden veranda and reverse level living, Beachside is only a short walk from the coast and is ideal for a family looking to explore the seaside of Beadnell and the wonderful attractions of Northumberland. Park off-road and make your way to the first floor of this property to find the living area. Here, a sitting area with a selection of blue sofas and dining furniture opens up onto a veranda, an ideal spot for enjoying a glass of your favourite beverage in an evening as the sun begins to set. The kitchen is also on the first floor and is packed with ample amenities for cooking up a storm.
On the ground floor, four tasteful bedrooms can be found, each with homely décor and storage, including a king-size with a TV, a double with a handy en-suite and a twin and a single perfect for children. Outside there is a grass area where you can picnic and relax with a good book in the sunshine. Beadnell is a wonderful coastal location with a great selection of eateries on offer for guests, including The Landing and The Craster Arms. The property itself is under a mile from the nearest beach, so spending a day at the seaside is a must, where you can even try out watersports with KA Adventure Sports.
Further from the property scenic walks can be enjoyed at Northumberland’s AONB, or for history lovers, head over to the historic town of Bamburgh, where the magnificent castle awaits exploration, and beyond that there is the increadible Holy Island with Lindisfarne Priory. Make a seaside holiday to remember with a stay at Beachside.
This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

Very useful enclosed garden and utility room and a well stocked kitchen in terms of crockery and utensils. Only slight points were the shower in the main master bedroom was very weak but that might be a limitation of the plumbing. We ended up sharing the shower in the other ensuite. Also it was a bit dusty around the house in general and there was mud (I hope only mud!) on the floor of the smaller double ensuite that we had to clean up before use but all the bedding etc was well cleaned.
