High Tide House in Craster is highly praised for its comfort, tasteful decoration, and excellent location close to the sea. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, welcoming atmosphere, and the property's suitability for both families and pets. The upside-down layout with light, airy living spaces and the proximity to local attractions and walks are notable highlights.
Most guests report the property as very clean, with a high standard of cleanliness maintained. However, a few guests noted some issues with kitchen cleanliness and dog hair on furniture, which slightly impacts the overall score.
The location is consistently lauded for its proximity to the sea, local amenities, and attractions such as Dunstanburgh Castle. The ease of access to coastal walks and the quiet, beautiful village setting contribute to a high score.
Guests find the house comfortable, with special mentions of relaxing bedrooms and comfortable beds. The warm and welcoming atmosphere contributes to the comfort experienced by guests, although a few minor furniture-related comments prevent a perfect score.
The property is well-equipped with modern amenities and a kitchen that satisfies most needs. Some guests suggested improvements such as additional bathroom hooks and larger dishwashers. Occasional maintenance issues, like a problematic freezer door, slightly lower the score.
Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts and detailed information folders. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such gifts are a kind bonus and not a guaranteed feature for every stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, the standard of accommodation and equipment is very high and easy parking (for Craster) a real bonus. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend

We had everything we needed to make our stay a brilliant one. Extremely clean, very comfort beds, and superbly equipped kitchen and comfortable seating arrangements in the living room. Lots of attention to detail to enhance our stay, not least the very generous welcome pack, which was much enjoyed by us all. A wonderful location in the beautiful village of Craster with lots of walks from the door. A stones throw from the harbour was another lovely addition to our holiday experience as was our visit the Cottage Inn at Dunstan, which served amazing, delicious food and a great selection of craft and locally sourced beers at very reasonable prices and great friendly service. We will certainly be recommending High Tide House to our family and friends and hope to return ourselves.
