Bedrooms were roomy and made up to king size for our arrival. There was a little welcome pack waiting for us which was a lovely touch. Living room was the same, with a bookshelf full of books and dvds for you to enjoy, board games in the draws as well. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay. You do need to follow the owners instructions to find the cottage as it is tucked away down a one lane country road. I would say the only downside to the cottage was the downstairs bedroom, which on a night time was close to an intermittent buzzing/droning noise source(not sure if this was the boiler or the underfloor heating or next doors ongoing building work?) But other than that, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend.

Spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Very clean and toasty warm. Very well equipped. Couldn’t fault anything. Lots of thoughtful extras too. Definitely recommend!

It was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Northumberland.
