Set in the grounds of Westfield House, this converted former stable has been modernized in a light and airy Scandinavian style. The interior is lofty, with exposed beams and good quality oak furnishings. The property is well-equipped making it a real home-from-home. The pretty and spacious garden is a haven for pets. The seating areas capture the morning and evening sun.
Set on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, the location is ideal for visiting this unspoilt area of the beautiful county of Northumberland. Bellingham offers award winning cafés and pubs and a wide variety of local food and gift shops. Gorge and Hareshaw Waterfall, Heritage Centre, Tea on the Train, micro-brewery, walks along the river, gorge walk to the waterfall, golf and fishing, Bellingham offers something for everyone.
The spectacular scenery of Kielder Forest and Water Park (14 miles) offers adventure for walkers and cyclists and watersports. The area has International Dark Sky Gold status. The market town of Hexham with its abbey and old gaol is 15 miles away, as is the Roman town of Corbridge. Both have regular farmers’ markets and good independent shops. Great little self contained cottage with beautiful garden with Jane and Chris going out off there way too advise on local amenities and be helpful. The only downside was the location quite a walk from the main road up a steep hill which did not help due to our age. We also thought the cost was a bit high end due to the overall size but having said that the cottage is immaculate inside with everything you require., consequently we would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Really enjoyed staying at The Studio. So comfortable and such a warm welcome from the owner. The private garden ideal for my dog. Really liked Bellingham, lovely walks, friendly people and a good centre for visiting other places, none too far away. Would highly recommend this place to stay on holiday.
