Exploring is easy from here, with Alnwick only 10 miles away. Its castle is the location where some scenes were shot for the Harry Potter films, as well as the TV series, Downton Abbey. We had a lovely short break at Broughs House. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Small but really cute. Lovely spot to get out and about from and visit the surrounding area.
