The cottage was very nice, also the welcome book contained lots of helpful information. The family were friendly and our friends dog was made welcome. A slight hiccup was that the cooking facilities were inconsistent and the bedding covers were a bit small. Outwith these small issues it was a really good holiday with plenty of sights & things to do locally.

We had a fabulous week at Honeypot Cottage and can't wait to return. The owners left a lovely welcome package; which was very thoughtful. The cottage has an excellent open plan ground floor and the two bathrooms are spacious, modern, clean and well equipped. Rothbury village is definately worth a visit (only a 5 minute walk to the centre), lovely coffee at Bewicks Coffee shop :) Overall, a great location perfect for visiting Alnwick, Morpeth, Bamburgh, Craster, Embelton etc
