Guests say

Island View is a well-regarded holiday cottage in Bridlington, praised for its excellent location near the harbour and beach, and its well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the comfortable lounge and the property's suitability for dogs. While some minor cleanliness issues and maintenance needs are mentioned, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests planning to return.

The property is generally found to be clean, with a few isolated incidents of overlooked areas. These minor issues, such as a dirty patio window and some drawers needing attention, do not detract significantly from the overall experience.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to the harbour, beach, and local amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring Bridlington and the surrounding areas.

Guests find the lounge comfortable and the beds mostly satisfactory, though there are comments about one mattress being uncomfortable. The presence of two bathrooms is appreciated for convenience.

The property is well-furnished with modern bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. However, there are mentions of a TV with poor reception and a suggestion to replace a mattress, indicating some areas for improvement.

While guests mention a welcome pack, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency or quality of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts. It is politely noted that such amenities are not guaranteed.

We had a wonderful 4‑night stay over Christmas at this lovely cottage. I stayed with my dad and our two dogs, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect break. The cottage was always warm and cosy, and it had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and the beach, which made getting out and about really easy. Both beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless and modern. The cottage itself was simple to find, and the access instructions were clear and straightforward. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

Lovely cottage. Fantastic location close to the harbour and eateries in walking distance. Cottage provided quality. Obviously money has been spent in upgrading. Lovely and warm. Wi-Fi not brilliant but will definitely return.

Lovely holiday cottage. Kitchen was extremely well equipped. Both showers worked really well. Lounge very comfortable and lovely to watch the birds which is fed every day. Location excellent with being 5 mins, if that from the harbour, pods, paddlers park. My only little gripe would be the patio windows were dirty possibly with a dog nose!! But everything else seemed acceptable. We tried to book for the same week next year but it had already been taken.
