Beds comfortable with really nice bedding. Great showers in the bathrooms, lots of lovely soft towels. Brilliant location. Small things - outside lights not working, only one cloth for the entire property, no cleaning products. But definitely recommended. Dog owners - some of the fence has quite wide gaps so small dogs would be able to escape. Another side of the fence only just above 3 feet so large dogs can jump over (ours is an escape artist). Shooting range nearby if like us you have an anxious dog (she is a rescue and very scared of shooting noises). But overall the garden is completely enclosed, lovely walks on the doorstep and the lodge is set away from the road so no traffic noise which was lovely. Fabulous location and a lovely wee village with a bakery, gallery shop and the wonderful Northumberland Arms.

A few instruction on how to operate the tv would have been helpful but eventually sorted. Heating was erratic, came on through the night but not on some days & no instructions to programme (so didn't fiddle) Could save cost of running. Very spacious, comfortable settee's & beds, beau...ti...ful towels !! Loved the main bathroom, but needed some shelves as there could be a danger of things falling off the window still onto the cistern & bath. Very convenient location.

House was spotlessly clean and perfect for our short family break. We had everything we needed and couldn't have chosen a better home to stay at. I would absolutely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in a comfortable home with a great homely feel in a great location for visiting Northumberland
