This was the cleanest, nicest, well equipped holiday home I have stayed in. Great location 2 mins car drive to a lovely dog friendly beach with not many people.Great 1.5 mile dog walk down the road at the side. Great location for all of the north east.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Sandpiper Rest and would highly recommend it.We had good communication from Cottages.com and the Property owners with information before our stay. We were delighted with our accommodation which was spotlessly clean on arrival and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with the usual pots, pans crockery etc which we found ample for our stay. The lounge was very spacious and bright with a dining area and patio doors out onto the garden which is gravelled. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with plenty of storage and the bathrooms are bright and modern .The location was excellent. We weren’t far from Morpeth or the lovely villages further up the coast.. We were travelling with friends who stayed in the cottage next door , Curlew retreat which is identical to sandpiper Rest. So this would be a ideal for anyone travelling with friends as we were. We would definitely stay again and happily recommend this to our friends and family.
