Stroll around the lake watching out for the wildlife and the resident swans, or stroll over to the on-site club house bar and café (seasonal). Once back at your lodge step onto the terrace and take in the ambience of your surroundings, then marvel at the luxuriousness of your bubbling, hot tub. Step into the lodge and be wrapped in a welcoming warmth that will stay with you throughout your stay. The living and dining area are open plan just perfect for socialising and the kitchen is well stocked with most utensils you’ll need for a self-catering lodge holiday. There are three bedrooms, one double and two twin, each with TV.
With fabulous access to the A1 for travel up and down the heritage coastline, there’s a wonderful kiddie zoo practically on the doorstep, and the location is ideal for exploring this fabulous, friendly county reputedly the friendliest in England. The county is diverse and day trips to Hadrian’s Wall and the National Park should not be missed whilst staying at Skye View. These properties can be booked together to accommodate larger groups.
