The location is celebrated for its peace and quiet, scenic views, and convenience for exploring Northumberland. One minor issue regarding pillow comfort prevents a perfect score.
The cottage is described as cosy, comfortable, and warm, with a special note on the comfy beds. A single mention of too-soft pillows slightly affects the otherwise perfect comfort rating.
Facilities are deemed excellent, with guests noting the cottage is well-equipped and maintained. The presence of a secure garden and thoughtful touches like dog towels and coffee pods are particularly appreciated.
Hosts are praised for their thoughtfulness, especially regarding the welcome pack. While gifts like homemade cake and local produce are mentioned and cherished, it is politely noted that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed.

There are plenty of walks from the cottage for dogs and an enclosed garden with beautiful views over nearby pastures. The Granary is tastefully furnished, has all amenities and was spotlessly clean; it is well worth the Sykes top rating.
Rebecca
Nicely enclosed garden for the dog to play in and nice walks in the surrounding area. Comfy bed and everything needed for a stay. Like a home from home.
