Very quirky setting but very comfy. Downside was that there were no welcome packs like other cottages that we have stopped in. But very spacious, home comforts too. The tv would look better on the wall in the livingroom and bedroom(bigger 1 needed). The single beds bedroom needed a tv in too. Could do with more privacy in the front and the stones need removing for sunbathing.I would definitely still recommend staying in this cottage still.

A very spacious house - spotlessly clean- room to sit outside at the back and front. Well equipped with everything we needed to make a meal, a few basics also available- salt pepper etc, plenty of toilet roll, cleaning gear . The house is so close to the beach & at the right end for the dogs who have had an amazing week.We had a small problem on the first evening and the owner responded quickly .We were blessed with amazing weather, yet the pub next door wasn’t noisy- we went there to watch England in the World Cup and were made so welcome to even partake in a match day buffet! Our favourite bars were the ink spot in the town & the Queen’s Head , the latter did great food.We explored Northumberland coast up to Holy Island & back- absolutely loved it.Thank you
