Nearby are miles and miles of beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and houses to explore, such as the castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.

Lovely house and welcome pack Lovely kitchen but flooring and walls little tired could do with a better freezer when staying for a week we took alot of food with us for xmas but only a tiny freezer in garage available so couldn't get everything in it but other than that a wonderful stay thank you
