At bedtime, there are two delightful bedrooms to choose from including a master king-size for the grown-ups and a cool family room with a double and a single bed in it for the kids, so everyone is happy. With two shower rooms for the house, there is no need to worry about queuing for the bathroom in the morning either! Take a stroll into the picturesque harbour of Seahouses which has a good selection of shops and eateries and is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you are guaranteed a whole host of beautiful walks and hikes rewarded by some stunning views along the way. Close by, there are miles of sandy beaches to explore and boat trips run daily from Seahouses to Farne islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, with towns such as the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and Bamburgh with its infamous castle. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few.
