Set on a cul-de-sac in Seahouses, this semi-detached house has a tastefully furnished open plan living space with French doors leading to a fully enclosed garden, where there is a gorgeous summerhouse with comfortable seating, an idyllic spot to rest and relax. All three bedrooms are positioned on the first floor along with a large, family shower room too.
Seahouses is a popular holiday destination with a good choice of pubs, shops and eateries all within easy walking distance of Lynbank. There is also a wide selection of takeaways including Chinese, Italian and Indian cuisine, as well as traditional fish and chips. Boat trips to the Farne Islands depart regularly from the harbour where the puffins and grey seal colonies are a spectacular sight. There is an impressive golf course on the links only 300 yards from Lynbank, and horse riding can be arranged less than a mile away.
Two miles down the coastline is Beadnell, renowned for its extensive golden sandy bay and popular for water sports, including kite surfing, diving and water-skiing. Three miles up the seashore is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, dominated by its magnificent castle. A short drive inland brings you to the historic market town of Alnwick, where its own castle is a popular visitor attraction along with Alnwick Garden. Lynbank makes a superb base for families to explore this Heritage Coast which has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beach 300 yards. Lynbank exceeded our expectations both in its comfort and size. It is very well-equipped and we wanted for nothing during our week-long stay. It was very clean and is obviously well looked after by the owners. A (very) short walk takes you to the heart of the village with the typical bustle of a seaside location. Not far beyond are the superb coastal locations of Bamburgh and Holy Island. We have stayed in Seahouses many times but this is by far the best accommodation we have had. We will be back!

Well placed cottage to access all amenities.. Parking space really helpful. Was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our holiday. First time staying in Northumberland and we loved it, would definitely stay at Lynbank again.

Within easy walking distance to town centre but off the main road. The house was comfortable and well furnished with it's own private parking. Rear of the house was fully secure which meant we could leave the rear door open so the dogs could go in and out as they wanted. Rear garden had plenty of seats so you could be out with the dogs as well. Would happily book again.
