Visit Budle Bay, a bird sanctuary, where at low tide a vast expanse of mud flats is home to countless thousands of sea and land birds, making this location a haven for bird watchers.

The market town of Alnwick, with its own majestic castle, cobbled streets and friendly locals offers many facilities a few miles inland. Went off season, & although weather was poor & we had colds, we were warm & comfortable & managed to see & do something different every day. Key codes were a bit tricky but the owner was helpful.
