Wooler is an attractive market town perched high above Wooler Water on the edge of the Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park. This lovely detached holiday cottage is set on a quiet side street not far from the main street with its good range of independent shops and pubs serving local food. Enjoy a game of golf, walking and biking routes for all abilities, fishing on the Rivers Till and Tweed, and the castles and gardens at Alnwick and Chillingham. Explore mystical Holy Island or take a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses. Shop and restaurant 250 yards, pub 200 yards.

We wish we had found this property our first time in Wooler. Casa Nostro is warm and cosy, the beds were very comfortable, the whole place was clean when we arrived with no dog smell (until we used the vacuum cleaner) despite pets being allowed here. We have never experienced such a well equipped kitchen either. I would imagine the garden is a godsend in the summer for families, lots of play equipment and a patio area where you can be separate from the kids but still keep an eye on them. The property is really close to the local shops, pubs and restaurants and despite the church being close we were not disturbed by the bells. If we are ever coming to Wooler in the future, we would definitely want to stay here

We loved staying here, it was amazingly equipped with everything and more than we needed. The adults were very comfortable and the children had a great time in the garden. The dog also had a great time. One of the highlights was a visit from a hedgehog in the evening while we were sitting outside. Loads to do around Wooler, easy reach of fantastic castles and beaches.
