Overall, our stay was good.Pros: Good location, convenient for exploring the Northumberland area.Nice two-bedroom townhouse with enough space for a family of three.Restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance.Cons:Second-floor ceiling lights didn't work, but every room other than the bathroom had lamps. Luckily, it didn't get dark until around 10 PM, so this was not too inconvenient in the summer. The toilet did not flush well most of the time.

Sadly the oven was not working but a heads up would have saved us buying food on the way. Without the grill cooking breakfast with one small frying pan was difficult. 2 pillows had no pillow cases present. The Microwave was rusty, The toilet would not flush, owner said it was water pressure, keep trying. The water pressure was fine and the cistern was full. So we were disappointed even though the cottage was generally okWooler was a great base and Northumberland was scenic as usual.
