Continue into the sleek kitchen/diner, well-equipped for a self-catered stay, where you can prepare and enjoy meals over a bottle of wine. After a day of exploration, catch some rest from one of two beautifully-presented and spacious bedrooms, selecting between a king-size and a twin, both located on the second floor. Steeped in history, Guisborough is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the town's most notable feature is the beautiful, ruined abbey, Guisborough Priory; standing in full glory, to its original height of 97 feet, the dramatic gothic east gable towers high over the market town and has become a well-known icon of the town. This bustling small town has twice-weekly market days, a good selection of eateries, excellent pubs, and many independent shops. Around Guisborough sits the spectacular woodland of Guisborough Forest. Guisborough Forest & Walkway is situated in Pinchinthorpe on the outskirts of Guisborough at the northern end of the A173.

    It’s like a home from home and Ideal for visiting local friends and touring around the area and as a bonus we got to see the Chaloner St Market. Welcome basket was a lovely touch. Recommendation for Cookfellows, Tockets Mill Restaurant and the Fox Inn.

Kim is an exceptional host and Guisborough town has everything you need on your doorstep and the most beautiful places to visit nearby

    The comfort and homely features provided were excellent, clean and very tidy. The property was decorated that was easy on the eye, colour coordinated. There was comfort and with consideration and thought given to the tourist spending time there. The owner clearly took pride in providing such a lovely place for anyone to feel at home from home. We would have no hesitation in basing ourselves there again, when next exploring this area.
