No smoking.. This charming holiday apartment can be found nestled within the picturesque surroundings of a working dairy farm, just under 2 miles from the Cheshire market town of Nantwich. Situated on the first floor, you’ll find the apartment is full of wonderful features, including beautiful, heavily beamed vaulted ceilings, an exposed brick wall and feature windows. The master bedroom boasts a super kingsize bed plus the benefit of an en-suite. The second bedroom has two platform style beds, and there’s a separate shower room. The inviting living space is spacious and open plan, making it sociable by design and perfect for catching up with loved ones. Externally there’s a seating area to the front with far reaching countryside views complete with cattle.
Nantwich is a charming market town set beside the River Weaver, with a rich history and second only to Chester in its wealth of historic timber-framed buildings. The High Street really comes alive during the summer months with floral displays throughout the streets. You’ll also find a seasonal outdoor brine pool (May-Sep) and popular events throughout the year, including the legendary Jazz, Blues and Music Festival at Easter and the world-famous International Cheese Awards in July.
Beyond Nantwich, nearby Audlem, 15 minutes’, offers a range of shops that attract many visitors, or you can cross the border into Shropshire and visit Whitchurch and the beautiful countryside that surrounds it. Jodrell Bank is a must, and the big city entertainment of Chester, Manchester and Liverpool can be reached in around an hour’s drive or by train from Nantwich station.
Those who like to explore the great outdoors can pick up the Sandstone Trail in nearby Tarporley, and there’s the castles of Beeston, Cholmondeley and Peckforton to explore. National Trust properties such as Tatton Park, Little Moreton Hall and Dunham Massey are accessible in around 30 minutes’, and for those with children head to Delamere Forest, Wild Shore Delamere, Bewilderwood or the Crocky Trail to name but a few. Other big names easily accessible include Chester Zoo and Alton Towers, and with the North Wales coastline also just an hour away, you really are spoilt for choice.
