Guests say

Guests consistently praise The Stables for its cleanliness, peaceful and wildlife-rich setting, and comfortable amenities. The property's location in a charming village with proximity to local attractions is appreciated, as is the thoughtful touch of welcome treats. Some guests suggest minor improvements, but overall experiences are very positive.

The property receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotlessly clean' and 'very clean'. Only one comment suggested the need to re-wash some kitchen items, but this seems an isolated incident.

The location is highly regarded for its quiet, rural setting and proximity to local amenities and attractions. Some guests found the property a bit difficult to locate, and one mentioned the need for better signage.

Comfort is frequently commended, with guests finding the property cosy and the beds comfortable. However, a few guests mentioned that the sofas were uncomfortable, which slightly impacts the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being described as well-equipped. However, there are comments about the TV remote not working, the lack of a dishwasher, and suggestions for a heated towel rail and a hover, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as Welsh cakes and milk upon arrival, there are not enough references to consistently assess the thoughtfulness across all stays. Therefore, while appreciated, such gestures cannot be guaranteed for future guests.

The surroundings are nice with a lot of this to do and towns to visit. We weren't a big fan of the double bed but this is personal. We would have prevered to have the curtains within the bedrooms to block more light as now you do wake up very early everday even when you do not have any early plans

Knowing we could arrive at anytime as keys were collected from keysafe at the property took the pressure off our journey (which was a very long one), and I will be looking for this option on bookings we make in the future. The cottage was spotlessly clean and and felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much for having us.

We were visiting family and the cottage was the perfect place for some quiet time after busy days. Very comfortable, with all the equipment, crocks and cutlery required. One minor room for improvement would be the provision of extra bags for the rubbish bins in the kitchen.
