The location alone is unbeatable. Walk across the road and you have delamere forest the train station and cafe. Short 2-5 minute drive to the local shop and pub. The house itself is beautiful and very cosy. Two nice sized bedrooms and large bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped and living spaces more than adequate for our family. There were zero issues with the heating or hot water, ignore any previous reviews, in fact if anything it was too warm!! The only criticism we had was the crockery and cutlery were left very dirty from the previous guests and we had to wash them all. Not a big deal as there is a dishwasher. Oh and they went the extra mile to make it feel like Xmas with a tree and bottle of mulled wine! We visit the area a lot and wonât look anywhere else from now on.

A great cosy homely place to stay with so much to do in the local area within a short drive like Chester, Cheshire oaks and walking distance to the forest Could do with a bit of maintenance and tlc throughout as you can tell it is well used and evidence of dogs on the sofa which I cleaned However otherwise it was very clean and nice to be provided with washing up liquids and soaps and cleaning products much appreciated Nice cosy feel and great comfy beds and shower and bath great We would definitely recommend
