1 Delamere Point is a beautifully furnished lodge in a stunning location with a relaxing setting and picturesque views. Guests have praised the property's interior, the provision of essentials, and the scenic lake views from the hot tub. While some guests encountered issues with maintenance and cleanliness, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The lodge received mixed feedback on cleanliness. While mostly clean, there were mentions of cobwebs, spiders, and some leftover food in the fridge. However, these issues seem to be minor and were addressed by guests themselves or did not significantly impact their stay.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views, proximity to local attractions, and the peaceful lake setting. Guests enjoyed the natural surroundings and the lodge's position overlooking the lake, contributing to a relaxing experience.
Comfort was generally well-regarded, with the property being beautifully appointed and furnished. However, some guests mentioned issues with outdoor furniture cushions being locked away or ruined, and uncomfortable metal-framed furniture due to missing back cushions.
Facilities at the lodge, such as the hot tub and outdoor furniture, were appreciated but had several maintenance issues. Guests reported problems with hot tub temperature, missing cushions, and a lack of daily maintenance as advertised, which affected their enjoyment.
While guests mentioned a welcome pack and an essentials box, there were no specific references to gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately assess the thoughtfulness in terms of gifts, and this score is set to null.

!! Just a few things on arrival, previous guests food still left in the fridge and could have done with a good clean. cobwebs everywhere on the wooden entrance and top windows looking out to the lake. No mat was provided for coming back into the lodge from the outside which meant we had to keep hoovering/ mopping. Also outside furniture cushions had been left outside and got soaked so unable to use which was a little disappointing. However despite the above the lodge was incredible, down to the finest detail of little trinkets to the beautiful decor. I wish we could have bought it.

Just a little feedback, there were not enough mirrors, we could really have done with a big mirror in the bunk bed room, and the mirror in the twin room was far too small, and tinted glass donât couldnât use it anyway. And the second thing, the en-suite bathroom absolutely stank, of a horrible egg sewage type smell on the second day, and this smell came and went for about 24 hours. But neither of these stopped us having the best time, and loving the lodge! Thank you xxx
